I have NEVER EVER had a hospital staff and billing department be so rude !!! I would NEVER ever suggest anyone go to this hospital.Think twice and check your bill very good .Ask alot of questions prior to your visit. They are a NIGHTMARE......Do yourself a favor, drive 10 minutes down the road to Cass County hospital.. New hospital with GREAT STAFF!!!!!

I also have utilized the services at Research Belton Hospital. I agree that maybe in the past things were not terrific at RBH. But that has changed especially for the ER. They have a terrific ER director that has changed things immensly in the past year and a half. There was a change in upper leval management as well and things have changed for the best. Research Belton provided excellent service, the nurses were top notch and the service I received was the best around. Each time someone uses a facility they are going to have a different experience. I encourage those that have had a bad experience just once, to give it another try. As for the review that mentioned cost of services, go to any hospital in the KC area and everyone charges the same amount for the same services. That is not anything that each hosptal is allowed to decide for themselves. I went to the ER at Belton Research Hospital...BIG MISTAKE! I'm new to the area and didn't know any better. They drew blood and took an xray. Told me nothing was wrong with me....a week later my PCP called and told me that the xray showed that I had pneumonia! My doctor also told me that next time, don't go to Belton Research....just keep driving and go to a different hospital!
